Federico Spadafora is one of our Product Managers, a valuable and brilliant resource who has been able to make his mark within the company in a short time, and we look forward to introducing him to you.
Hi Federico! You are certainly not someone who struggles to make your voice heard, but today we want to ask you a few questions. Why don’t you tell us your story?
With great pleasure! My name is Federico, I am 29 years old and I was born and raised in Milan, where I attended Pacle A. Manzoni, where I graduated as a business expert in 2010.
My first work experience was in a well-known hotel in the centre of Milan, where I organised and managed corporate events, meetings and congresses in every detail. A much more sales-focused job, which was not only distant from my course of study, but also diametrically opposed to my current role.
In any case, I was very young and wanted to gain experience, so I accepted an offer from a company in Arona where I started as a troubleshooter and ended up managing a very important customer implementation project. It was only after two years that I received my first opportunity as a buyer.
How do you join the A+B Group?
For sure, commuting life becomes burdensome after three years, but what really gave me the impetus to look for another job was my determination and desire to have more responsibility, something I had only had a taste of. After three interviews, I was hired by A+B Industrial Tools Company in 2018.
How does your experience within the Group differ from your previous career path?
I initially joined as a buyer but, as I have always been a curious person, willing to understand and learn, my responsibilities had already increased after a few months due to my resourcefulness. In this process of my growth, the support of the company was crucial, as it made me think about what I wanted and could do based on my potential. After only two years I became Product Manager, a great personal satisfaction, the reward for my efforts and commitment.
Now that you have reached this position, do you think you have achieved the maximum or do you set yourself other goals?
Although my journey within the company has been really quick, I realise that I still have a lot to learn. I want to specialise more and more and continue to broaden not only my horizons but also my skills and be prepared for other products as well. I know that I am not yet fulfilled and that I can do so much on a human and professional level, I am determined and look forward to my next goal.
