Paolo Franceschelli Credit Manager

Hello Paolo, today we know you a little better. Tell us about your role and what you do in the company.

My role is rather transversal, I deal with the management of trade receivables, with tasks ranging between financial, accounting and commercial activities. When I arrived at the company eight years ago, I was mainly involved in debt collection, but over the years my position has been consolidated. Today, as a credit manager, I play a major role in the process of fostering customers and determining sales conditions. I always work with a strong goal orientation, constantly striving to reduce credit losses as much as possible and thus maximise company profits.

What was your path?

In my journey what was really decisive was the influence of my family, without whom I would perhaps never have achieved such a complete university education.
I obtained a first degree in languages and a second in economics, after which I started working in a multinational chemical company. Here I took my first steps and learnt what I do now with great satisfaction.

What do you like most about your work?

What I like most about my work is the concreteness, the fact that it is tangible. My work at the end of the year has a real and evident impact on the result, a result that obviously counts for the company, but also for me on a personal level. At that moment I know that the achievement of that goal was also due to me.

This is certainly a great satisfaction, but on a personal level, what are your goals?

My goal is to improve the credit policy and extend it to all group companies, so as to provide a further boost to our business.
Personally, I hope to increase my experience and enhance my role within A+B Industrial tool Company which, I am sure, will give space to my ideas by constantly putting me into play.
